Fifteen-year old licensed motorcyclists may now ride up to 250cc motorcycles. When you turn 16, your license automatically allows you to ride any size motorcycle you wish. Prior to September 1, 1999, 15-year old riders could only ride up to 125cc motorcycles.
If you want to take the course and do not have a driver's license, you must bring proof of completing the first six hours of an approved Driver's Education Course. Of course, you also must have parental permission. Anyone under 18 years old must take the BRC (Basic Riding Course) 2-day course before applying for a motorcycle license.
